Time to Climb! We know you are out there; those of you who thrive on steep hills, burning legs and pounding hearts, so let's make it official and climb the infamous Gibraltar Road. Yes, it's an advanced ride, hard and steep. A ~6 mile contiguous, one and a half to two hour steep uphill, but with spectacular views. We recommend bringing at least two bottles of water and some sugary snacks for fuel. Perhaps also a jacket as it sometimes gets chilly riding back down. E-bikes are of course welcome. Also, what's great about an out-and-back uphill climb is that you can easily turn around at any point and head back to Renaud's for a coffee and an almond croissant reward. Note that we'll start a little earlier than usual, 8 am, to take advantage of the cooler mornings to avoid overheating. Distance: 19 miles Elevation gain: 3350 feet Estimated total time: ~2.5 hours
When: Sunday April 26th at 8 am Start/End: Renaud's Patisserie & Bistro (State St) Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/54486806
