Cycling: Rincon to Ventura & Back Bike Ride

The Newcomer Bike Committee is finally out of hibernation and ready to get rolling in 2026. We have a beautiful ride planned for Saturday. Hope to see a big group at the parking lot at Rincon at 9am. It's a 27-mile flat, seaside ride to Ventura and back, with a planned coffee break there. Ebikes are always welcome. It's a great opportunity for all riding levels to participate! We'll stop a few times along the way to regroup.

NOTE: Please be aware that the 2026 Rincon Classic is also happening on Saturday, starting at 6.45 am, so there will be more demand for parking. Allow extra time to find parking, or play it safe and park at Viola Fields.


Start: Saturday, Feb 7th, 9am in the parking lot at Rincon Beach (Bates Rd exit on Hwy 101).  See link below for exact location.

The ride typically takes around three hours including a leisurely coffee break. If you prefer a shorter ride, it's always an option to turn around early, so don't let that stop you from getting those knees in the breeze.

PS: This ride earns you the right to indulge excessively on the couch during Sunday's Super Bowl.
