No hike if raining.  Bring plenty of water

 This is a Friday 8:30am meetup – no need to register.

JESUSITA TRAIL TO INSPIRATION POINT – 8:30 AM. This is the longer way up to Inspiration Point that we hike on a regular basis.  It is somewhat shaded, offers very scenic views, and can be done partially because it is an out and back hike. Distance: 6.5 miles round trip. Elevation gain: 1000 feet. Hiking Time 3.5 hours (go at your pace). Difficulty: moderate to strenuous. 

DIRECTIONS:  Exit 101 at Las Positas and turn toward the mountains. Crossing State St., Las Positas becomes San Roque. Continue on San Roque past 192. (You can also get to San Rogue via 192.)  Go 1/2 mile past 192 and park at the Cater Water Filtration Plant, the trail head for Jesusita.
