Mick Kronman, who has been the Santa Barbara Harbor operations manager since 2000 will do a presentation about his book, "From Hooks to Harpoons",  about the ever changing fishing industry in Santa Barbara. This is the most definitive, comprehensive and all encompassing piece about the ever changing fishing industry in Santa Barbara.

Mick, before holding his current position, was a commercial fisherman with his own boat for ten years. And for twenty years a reporter for National Fisherman Magazine where 

he reported about Santa Barbara County politics and its fishing industry.

The museum has offered free admission prior to and after the event. The $5.00 registration fee will be donated to the museum.

Afterwards at 3:30, a no host happy hour will take place  at the Endless Summer Bar and Cafe, next door and upstairs.
